Help us keep Music aLIVE
in SWFL
Music aLive SWFL, Inc. was formed in October 2022 in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, one of the most devastating hurricanes to ever hit Florida. We are a 501(c)3, non profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of live music in Southwest Florida.
Music aLIVE SWFL supports the live music culture in Southwest Florida through providing financial relief assistance, education, and other support as necessary to individuals and organizations that participate in the creation and promotion of live music in our community.
In September of 2022, Hurricane Ian devastated Southwest Florida.
Hurricane Ian, the strongest hurricane ever to hit Southwest Florida, left many local musicians without homes, transportation, instruments and sound equipment.
It also leveled many of the venues where they performed.
Music aLIVE SWFL was founded and continues to raise
money and provide funds to our local musicians, to help rebuild their lives and their livelihood – music!
Since our inception we have raised over $75,000 through pop-up gigs, concert events, and other fundraising efforts. These funds have gone directly to local musicians that suffered losses in Hurricane Ian and other personal tragedies like house fires or medical emergencies.
